In Motihari, a 22 year old girl was betrayed first by her lover and then by her family members. The lover took her away from home on the pretext of marriage. But, despite this he did not marry. The girl had reached Bageshwar Dham because of her lover. The police recovered him there. When she returned, the person with whom her family had arranged to marry had broken up. The family members began to fear for their reputation. After this, something happened which no one had even imagined. Her family members not only gave her the death sentence for love but also disposed of her dead body. The police had to take 12 days to solve this mystery. When the police reached the murderer through scientific research, they said that the girl had committed suicide out of love. We got scared and for fear of getting trapped, we packed his body in a sack and threw it in the river. Now know how the police reached the killers…
On April 27, police had recovered an unidentified wooden body tied in a sack near Paya No. 13 of Sattarghat Pool in Bijadhari OP area. Although the girl was not identified, the next day when the watchmen of Kesariya police station identified her and told that she was the same girl whom we had recovered from Bageshwar Dham. After this it was matched with the photograph kept in the police station. The girl was identified as Kajal Kumari, 22-year-old daughter of Pradhuman Das, resident of Subaiya village of Kesariya police station area. After this, police investigation was intensified and all three accused involved in the murder were arrested.
Kajal’s father had applied on March 17
Actually, Kajal’s father Pradhuman Das had applied in Kesariya police station on March 17. In this, he had accused Sagar Kumar of the village of abducting his daughter Kajal Kumari. On the basis of the application, registering a case, the police started raids to recover the wood. During this time it was revealed that he was in Bageshwar Dham. From where the police recovered him and made his 164 statement in the court and handed him over to his family on March 24. Here, Kajal’s marriage was fixed but it broke due to his running away. The family members were very upset due to this. The grief of the breakup of his marriage was troubling him.
Don Brick revealed the secret of murder, this is how the police reached
Meanwhile, when Kajal’s body was found tied in a sack under Sattarghat bridge, when the body was taken out from the sack, a brick of Don Chimney was recovered from it. Taking this brick as the basis, the police started investigation and revealed the murder. Kajal and Sagar were in love for a long time, when Kajal’s marriage was fixed, both of them planned to run away and get married. Sagar reached Sahebganj with Kajal. Here he brought Kajal to his friend’s house and kept it. Sagar came to collect the money but did not go back again. After this, Sagar’s friend took Kajal to Bageshwar Dham but the police recovered her from there.
To hide Kajal’s death, her body was thrown into the river.
According to the father and brother of deceased Kajal, on the night of 26th April, Kajal committed suicide by hanging herself with her dupatta in the bathroom. We were afraid that if Abhi ran away and committed suicide, we would be trapped. After this he talked to his son-in-law, son-in-law came and called his brother. After this, at 2 o’clock in the night, they packed Kajal’s body in a sack and left for Sattarghat Pool with their bike. My son-in-law’s brother was tracking ahead on the bike and we were following behind carrying the dead body. Bricks were put in the sack so that the bodies did not come out when they fell into the river. No one will know. But, when the dead body was thrown from the pool, it did not go into the water and remained on dry land, till it was night, even we did not realize it.
SDPO disclosed
Chakia SDPO Satendra Singh said that the case has been cracked after the body of the girl was found in a sack from below the Sattarghat pool. The girl’s father Prabhuvan Das, brother Chandramohan alias Ajay Prasad and his brother-in-law Ashutosh Kumar, who were involved in the murder, have been arrested. After the post mortem report comes, it will be known whether Kajal was murdered or she committed suicide. Further action is going on in the matter.
